Amanda is currently an Account Executive at AAAZA where she handles the DIRECTV South Asian advertising and marketing campaigns.

Previously, Amanda worked as a Marketing Associate at
Camilla David Textiles. Before that, she completed a broadcast industry PR/Marketing internship at zcomm, where she pitched radio PSAs and booked radio interviews for various clients including the KingBilly band, AVMA, The Smithsonian’s American Indian Museum, Campbell Soup, Twix, Suave, McCormic Spices.  She even booked interviews at various national radio stations for Denny's Restaurants during Super Bowl season, and also pitched a 60 second PSA for Participant Media to various TV Stations.  At zcomm, Amanda also edited audio with Adobe Audition and assisted with radio promotions.  Prior to zcomm, she interned at The Ad Agency, Inc. where she worked in the advertising, PR, marketing and special events industry.  At The Ad Agency, Inc., Amanda coordinated and managed the holiday events at the Chevy Chase Pavilion.  She also proofread and edited copy, conducted casting sessions, created marketing plans, RFPs, and fact sheets, worked on new business proposals, brainstormed branding, advertising, marketing and promotion ideas and provided human resources and administrative support.

As an intern for the consumer markets team at Fleishman Hillard, Amanda conducted extensive research, conducted media tracking, created backgrounders, formed media contact lists using Cision, wrote pitch letters/emails and pitched to the media, assembled a Silver Anvil entry and updated TheBoomerBlog.com.  Amanda successfuly pitched to the Orlando Sentinel. Amanda even participated in a New Business pitch for Rosetta Stone and YWCA.  Over the course of her internship, Amanda did work for many clients including: The Army's Operation Tribute to Freedom Program, Coty Inc., HPBA, CEA, NCA, The Smithsonian's Butterflies Exhibit, FH Boom, Better Sleep Council, AT&T Chinatown, H&R Block and Red Hat Society.

Prior to interning at Fleishman Hillard, Amanda worked as an Office of Public Affairs intern at The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History (NMAH).  At NMAH, Amanda wrote press releases which she pitched to the media--Amanda successfully pitched to USA Today.  In addition, Amanda also formed weekly media reports and handled media inquiries.
